The MICROBIOMES4SOY project is a European research initiative funded by the Horizon Europe program, running from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2028. Coordinated by the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, the consortium brings together 17 partners from 10 countries, combining scientific and industrial expertise. The main goal is to enhance the understanding of microbiomes across food systems, using soy as a model crop. The project aims to develop microbiome-informed approaches to improve crop productivity, promote soy-enriched diets beneficial to human health, and create innovative soy-based fish feed for sustainable aquaculture.
